Tunisian Crochet--Stitches and Scarf
It's crocheting...it's knitting...it's a little of both! Tunisian
crochet, also known as afghan stitch, is worked on a crochet hook but leaves the loops on the hook like in knitting. The results are the best of both worlds. In this class taught by Sharon Silverman (author of Basic Crocheting), students who are comfortable with basic crochet stitches will add some Tunisian stitches to their repertoire. Tunisian knit, purl, and simple stitch will be taught, as well as some tricks of the trade. Students will select yarn and hooks that best show off Tunisian stitches, and will begin a Tunisian scarf.
